I'll be back again. I passed an average size bear early in the trip hoping to connect on a big one that didn't show but I still had a blast. I had my 81 year old father with me and Wade and his crew did everything they could to get him his first bear but he didn't connect on his two opportunities. This was my second year hunting with Wade and I had never been bear hunting and really know what to expect. Had a great time from the time I arrived until the time I left. I saw only one bear, the one I shot, it was a 358 lb boar but out of the 16 or so guys in camp 9 bears were taken and there were two bear not recovered after bad shots and one clean miss. Everyone in camp saw at least one bear. Wade and his guides work very hard for everyone, were very approachable, and are very knowledgeable without being arrogant. They really make you feel like your part of the family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hunt and in fact, have booked again this fall. Stephen Dimarino Pennsylvania

I HAVE HUNTED WITH WADE AND TYLOR KELLY FOR 14 YRS/SEASONS AND HAVE TAKEN 12 BEARS WITH THEM. ONLY ONE HAS BEEN LESS THAN 200 LBS AND THREE HAVE BEEN OVER 300 LBS. THE BIGGEST I HAVE SEEN TAKEN THERE IS 429 LBS AND WAS SHOT WITH A RECURVE BOW. ALMOST ALL THE THE BAITS ARE SETUP FOR BOWHUNTERS WITH BETWEEN A 15 TO 20 YRD SHOT ON EACH. THE STAND PLACEMENT IS EXTREMELY WELL DONE TO OPTIMIZE THE HUNTERS OPPROTUNITIES. THE MAJORITY OF HUNTERS SEE MORE THAN ONE BEAR IN A WEEK AND IF YOU CAN PASS ON THE SMALLER ONES YOU ARE MOST LIKELY TO TAKE A REALLY NICE BEAR OVER 200 LBS. THIS IS A BEAR HUNTERS PARADISE IN ALLAGASH MAINE AND EACH YEAR WE SEE MORE AND BIGGER BEARS. Edward Fuller Pennsylvania
