Two Rivers Restaurant

for a bear of an appetite

Hunters gather for a home cooked meal

In 1976 Tylor and Leitha Kelly built a small hot dog stand in Allagash, Maine and named it Two Rivers Lunch.  By 1985 Two Rivers Lunch developed into a full service restaurant well-known for its original hunting decor and huge buttermilk pancakes.

Now owned and operated by daughter Darlene, Two Rivers Lunch is still a must stop for Allagash visitors, canoeists, snowmobilers and our beloved locals.  Easily the most photographed restaurant in the County!

Northern Maine LodgeThis popular hangout is the place to be for morning coffee and trading hunting stories with the locals. The walls are decorated with wildlife mounts and pictures of hunters with their trophies.  It’s been described as ‘the real Maine’ where the conversation is lively and the pancakes are as big as a skidder tire!
