Canoe and Shuttle Service on the Allagash River
Day trip, weekend getaway, or a 10 day canoe adventure, the Allagash Wilderness Waterway offers a canoe trip that can meet your needs and experience level.
The Allagash Wilderness Waterway, St John River, Little Black River and the Big Black River are all within reach from Tylor Kelly Camps in Allagash Village.
Our lodge and camps are located at the confluence of the St John and Allagash Rivers, with private canoe landings on both rivers.
SIGNING IN AT THE NORTH MAINE WOODS GATE
Tylor Kelly Camps is located at the end of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. Simply park here and ride with us to your start point along the river. This service is called a "Transport".
You may wish to drive yourself to your start point. We will pick up your vehicle and drive it to your take out destination while you’re paddling the river. This service is called a "Shuttle".

PICNIC LUNCH ON THE RIVER
We rent Old Town Discoverys 169 which really hit the sweet spot for river trips. At almost 17″ they carry a nice load of gear while still being efficient, maneuverable and stable on the river. They will slide off rocks nicely and can take a pounding. All rentals include paddles and PFD’s.
BEAUTIFUL ALLAGASH VILLAGE
We’re conveniently located at the end of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway with our own canoe landing and secure private parking lot with free parking and free camping at our place in Allagash Village. Cabins rentals are also available starting at $150 per night.
