Fall 2024 - Allagash, Maine
I was fortunate enough to spend a week moose hunting at Tylor Kelly Camps. From the minute I arrived it felt as though I had been a client for years, despite it being my first time. The lodge was clean, the food was delicious, hearty, and plentiful. Our guide was very well prepared having scouted the area all summer. I would absolutely return to Tylor Kelly Camps again and would certainly recommend it to others. It was a great experience and I am glad to know Maine still has a great family run operation.

Fall 2023 - Allagash, ME
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Wade, Sue, Abby, Jake, and the rest of the crew here at Tylor Kelly Camps. I was lucky enough to have the one and only Wade Kelly as my moose guide, and he did not disappoint. The man is an incredibly experienced guide. We went out and stood by a clear cut for about 20-30 minutes. He did some grunting and scraping, and before long I could hear grunting in the distance. It took me two shots as I was looking through quite a few trees, but he dropped straight down the second shot!! My bull was 745lbs with a 37” spread, and I couldn’t have been more excited or thankful. I’ll never forget this experience as long as I live! Not only was the guide service awesome, but the food was all homemade and delicious, the lodging was super comfortable, and the scenery is magnificent. This trip was 100% worth every penny spent. Thank you Tylor Kelly Camps for everything!
Fall 2023 - Allagash, Maine
My son in law and my 8 year old grandson and myself spent two nights lodging and meals at kelly's camps. It was great, very clean and the food was delicious and plenty for all. The rooms were clean and had it's own toilet and shower. Sue and Wade are wonderful people very friendly. Although we didn't have a guide Wade Kelly gave us a few locations that were productive. Thank you Wade & Sue for a wonderful experience.
Fall 2023 Bear Hunt - Croydon, NH
We wanted to give an Allagash bear hunt a try, and were enticed by the elevated ground blinds offered by Tylor Kelly Camps. What an experience! Wade, Sue, Jake and the rest of the crew delivered beyond our expectations! The lodge was comfortable, the food was great and plentiful, and the stands were a nice touch. Anastasia took a bear on opening night, while I was treated to ringside seats at the bear scuffle of the year. Wow! We had a great bunch of hunters at camp, getting to know them all throughout the hunt and during the nightly riverside bonfires. It was a week we will never forget!

If any one want to get a bear you have to go to the allagash and have wade and sue guild you. They no how to bring in the bears to all of there sights. I had a great time the week I was there . Everybody was so nice and helpful . Food was great Three meal a day . I had my own private sleeping area with shower kitchen bed room . Wade took me out baiting one day had bear on all the cameras and bait was hit hard . Hoping to go back for another hunt 2024 thank you all for the hard work at the Kelly camp.
October, 2019 - North Waterboro and Denmark, ME
My son, Jeff, drew a moose permit in the 2019 lottery. I called three outfitters on the evening of the drawing. All the outfitters were friendly, but there was something different about Tylor Kelly Camps. I spoke with Sue initially and then she had Wade call me back, which he did right away. They both answered all my questions but made no promises about harvesting a moose. They just said it should be a good experience. They were right! It turned out to be a hunt of a lifetime. Jeff harvested a 57” bull the first morning, which qualified for the MASTC book. Abby, Sue and Wade couldn’t have been more gracious. The food and lodging were excellent. Fond memories forever.
Fall 2022 - Epsom, NH
I took my daughter Jayla, her boyfriend Justin, my nephew Connor and my wife Christine up to Tylor Kelly Camps to hunt. (My wife attended but didn't hunt.) The "kids" all got bears, with Justin scoring big on a 284lb boar he took with his bow. I saw a couple of bears and passed on a decent one because Wade showed me trail cam pics of an absolute beast that was in the area. (I will be back for him in the future.) The trip was everything I could have wanted: Great people, clean accommodations, fantastic food and bears...lots and lots of bears. The Decker Crew will definitely be back.
2022 Moose Hunt - Lincoln, Maine and Shawnee, Oklahoma
Fabulous week at Tylor Kelly Camps in Allagash, Maine! We honestly can't say enough about our experience with Tylor Kelly Camps. With the expert knowledge and experience of our Guide, Jake, we were able to see and shoot a 660 lb dressed weight moose the first day! But, that wasn't all. Wade and Sue Kelly, the owners/operators of Tyler Kelly Camps are wonderful people. They were genuinely concerned with our comfort and experience. The lodge was clean and comfortable and every meal was fantastic! Sue and Wade were wonderful hosts and their comradery will never be forgotten! 2019 Moose Hunt
Huge thank you to Wade, Sue, Abby, Hilton and the rest of the staff for your hospitality. Great meals, great hunt, and best of all great people. After seeing the bull I shot in the first minutes of the season and not getting a shot, putting in the hours and not giving up paid off in the final hours of the week. Truly great guides and great people, hope to be back there again.

Allagash River Shuttle
We took a canoe trip down the Allagash recently and went through TKC. The first night we got into town we stayed in one of the cabins and it was really really nice. The next day when Wade was bringing us to our put in point he showed us the lodge and it was beautiful. The ride to the put in point was a blast. I could’ve ridden around with Wade all day chatting about hunting and fishing. I am definitely thinking about booking hunting and fishing trips through them. When we got off the river we had a huge breakfast at the diner that is owned by Wade‘s sister. The service was good the prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful an experience we had dealing with the Tyler Kelly Camp. They will definitely be seeing more business from me in the future.
Allagash Wilderness Waterway Canoe Trip
My husband and I had an awesome Allagash experience. Our time at the lodge was relaxing and it is beautiful. Sue is a wonderful cook and made us fantastic meals. TKC did all the planning, logistics, provided gear for our Allagash river trip. Our guide Jake was awesome and not only showed us the river, its history, cooked over the fire and even played his guitar for some backcountry music at the campsites. Highly recommend TKC if you want a professional and smooth Allagash river trip.

Our guide and owner Wade Kelly.. you could not have asked for a more likeable experienced and knowledgeable guide highly recommend we just may have to come back... dress weight 615... the lodge is beautiful and the owner Sue is a fantastic cook. Fall 2022 - Los Angeles, CA
Imagine this…one day you are riding out into the remote North Maine woods on a balmy summer day, packed like sardines in a pick-up truck. You are shoulder-to-shoulder with a bunch of strangers (and one friend) carrying firearms. As the truck approaches the entrance to the woods, your heart sinks and mind nervously, eagerly wonders “what did I get myself into?” Now fast forward a few days and imagine yourself sitting around a camp fire, with that same group of strangers, now friends, reflecting on the incredible journey of the past week while listening to your guide strum some Johnny Cash. (Jake Freener for new country artist of the year, anyone?!?!) Now you are wondering “how soon can I get back here?” Wade, Sue, Abby, Jake, and all those who work at Tylor Kelly’s Camps tirelessly ensure the best possible experience in the cabin and out in the woods. I cannot imagine a better FIRST hunting experience and plan on going back as often as possible. If you are on the fence about going, take the plunge. You will create memories and stories that last a lifetime.

Having hunted and fished for seventy years I have experienced many outfitters in Canada, PEI, Newfoundland, Labrador, Maryland and Georgia. Most of the outfitters were recommendations from friends and most of them were good experiences. Kelly Camps are by far the best that I have ever experienced. They go out of their way to make sure that they give you the best advantage for a quality experience. Great people and great facility.

Bear with hounds 2021 - Reading, PA
Trying to sum up the unbelievable week I had with Tylor Kelly Camps is not an easy thing. The food, lodging, hardworking guides and hunting was second to none. Wade and Sue and my guides Jake and Lisa went above and beyond to try and get me on a bear. I am grateful for all the effort that went in to getting me to the tree for the harvest. My time spent in Allagash was wonderful. During the as week I watched the leaves change I saw moose, grouse as well as lots of other critters each and every day. The area of the North Maine Woods that they lease they know like the back of their hand and put that knowledge to work for their client. I can’t wait to get back up to the Allagash with them again.
Backcountry Muskies
It's not always about chasing giants.... Last week was a break from the norm to spend time in what has to be the coolest, most remote and pristine musky haunts the east has to offer. Sharing the water and woods with nature, completely isolated from civilization with out computers and cell phones is the real treat here. While the true leviathans don't inhabit these back waters, boating over 20 ski's in a few days certainly kept things interesting. And these fish were jacked up! I've never experienced muskys that take you to the reel with multiple runs and aerial displays like this. Easily as many slipped off the hook as came to hand. If your looking for a truly unique musky fishing experience, you need to check out the North Maine Woods. To Sue, Wade, Abby, Lisa, and the entire Tylor Kelly's Camps Team in Allagash, Maine, On behalf of the Outdoor Women company, we want to thank you for all that you and your team did to help make our 2021 Outdoor Women’s Allagash Paddling Adventure a success. We will continue to return to Kelly’s North Wood Lodge for many more OW adventures and greatly appreciate the relationship we have built with your organization. As we stepped out of our car on arrival, Sue greeted us as if we had just been there last week like we were lifelong friends, this is a testament to the welcoming environment Tylor Kelly’s Camps provides to their clients. Following shortly behind us were 14 other women who had never been there before, many were first-time paddlers that signed up to go canoeing for 2 days in the Allagash wilderness. With so many different experience levels and backgrounds their are many details that needed to be considered. Tylor Kelly’s Camps thought of them all!! Sue, Wade, Abby and Lisa were attentive to every question asked and genuinely interested in helping make this the best experience possible for all our participants. They have the best people, they are super organized, clean, have top-notch equipment, and are a first-class operation all the way around and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. 2021 Father/Daughter Fishing Trip
This is Abby the girl from the pictures writing from my mom’s page. Thank you so much ( catching muskies and out fishing my dad was pretty fun ) The Brook Trout photos may be posted later, they put up a great fight! I was amazed by the Trout’s coloring, how smooth the fish was, and how quick and delicate fish they are. Out of my starting Sunfish, Pumpkin Seeds, Blue Gills, and Perch to Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Striped Bass, Crappies, Pickerel and Muskies..... NATIVE Brook Trout are my new favorite fish! Thank you Tylor Kelley’s Camps! The experience was amazing, Wade our guide was spectacular helping me out on “Big Black”, Fall Brook, and McLean Lake! (Sorry for loosing your panther lure) Sue was very friendly and open, explaining about the cabins and answering all my questions. Darlene and her friends cooked a fantastic brunch at Two Rivers Lunch. The cabins and location were beautiful, I’m just so happy about how this trip went. There’s really no words for how great this trip was. Once again thank you so much, this was so great I loved every single part of this trip. I really hope I can do it with my whole family, and I cannot wait to tell my friends!!!!!!
Muskie Fishing
This weekend I checked a big one off the bucket list, catching a musky on the fly. However, it would be wrong of me to strictly accredit my success to persistence and raw angling ability. Jake, a recently founded friend and local guide out of Tylor Kellys Camps Allagash Maine, had a major role to play in my success.
I want to be clear. This was not a paid for guided trip. This was three friends floating down a river, having a few drinks, and fishing. That didn't matter to Jake though. He showed a constant excitement and passion for what were doing and wanted to share all he knew about the area we were floating. It kept me motivated and confident that if I kept fishing then I would catch a musky.
As a fishing and hunting guide, you can assume a free weekend doesn't happen very often. In fact, at one point during the day he mentioned that this weekend will more than likely be the last one he has off in a while. In my opinion, that highlights the quality of a guide he is. He took two friends to do what he does for work on one of his only days off. It's not about the money to him. It's about getting outside and sharing what he loves and knows to other people. That's why I'm sharing my experience via Facebook. If anyone is considering visiting Allagash, just know that the guides there aren't just good at what they do, they love what they do.

Everything you could ever want in a guide service. Extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the wilderness experience. They are professional in everything they do, but add that very special, personal touch; they really care that their clients have the adventure of a lifetime. You may go to Tylor Kelly Camps as a client, but you always leave as a friend.
2015 Moose Hunt
I drove 30 hours by myself to hunt with Tylor Kelly's guide service and would do it again in a minute!
Absolutely fabulous people and guide service! Wade, Sue and Jake treated me and my friend like we were family on our October Moose hunt. Jake guided us to an awesome 45" Monday morning first hour bull that had wide paddles, just what we were looking for.
Everyone went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it. Do not miss breakfast at the Two Rivers restaurant either - it's awesome!
The accommodations were great and extremely clean. Can't say enough about these guys. If you want to know more send me a message but be prepared for me to talk for a while and tell you what a great time we had.
We will be back!

Allagash River Shuttle
Just got back from my 4th trip down the Allagash. The Kelly’s have a great spot at the end of the river and you won’t meet a nicer couple in Wade and Sue. They are always happy to go out of their way to help and to make your trip comfortable. Thanks for lending me a belt for the trip and the cup of coffee for the ride to Umsaskis!

Tylor Kelly Camps is SO MUCH MORE than just a hunt camp & guide service! They are the TOTAL PACKAGE... the real Maine Hunting experience. And to top if off, they are some of the greatest people! Awesome, dedicated, and VERY GOOD at what they do! I highly recommend them (just please don't book my spot! Hee hee!) See you all again next year!
Summer Vacation in Allagash
The beach and playing golf is so overrated! Whatever season you decide to visit, Wade will make sure it's an adventure of a lifetime! I can't wait to shed my shoes, dangle my toes over the side of the canoe, take a deep breath and soak in the beauty of the Allagash!! Grab your fishing pole, your bug spray and your camera! Maine Bear Hunt
Being my first time to bear hunt I didn’t know what to expect. I can honestly say that with all that happened in the wk it was one of the greatest experiences I could ever hope for. I sat in a blind then decided to hunt w the hounds. I shot a 121lb bear out of a tree and with alot of emotions cried. Everyone there understood that rush of adrenaline. I will never forget the great hospitality of Wade & Sue Kelly, their beautiful lodge and great meals. Jake & Lisa Feener for their patience w us Ohio folk and their tracking abilities and to all the houndsman-Mike (Hubb)Jared, Clint and Billy I highly recommend them for a great hunt

Allagash River Canoe Trip
Wade shuttled our car from Chamberlain to Allagash for our paddle along the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. I would highly recommend Wade and Tylor Kellys for any trips in the area. We didn't notice it, but a slow leak in one of our tires meant that the tire was flat when Wade arrived to shuttle our car. He changed the tire, drove with the spare to Allagash, and when we arrived offered to plug the hole. He repaired the tire and had us back on the road in no time. The plug held all the way back to Portland and we haven't had any issues since then. Thanks again Wade!

Sue and Wade are the rock stars of the Allagash River Wilderness. 2019 Moose Hunt
What a great place to stay, very clean and maintained. Wade and Sue are some of the best people in the world. this was my 1st time moose hunt so they were very helpful . My son and myself had the best time. they made us feel like one of the family.Our guide was Jared Ashley , very knowledgeable about the hunt and area in zone 1 if you need a guide, this guy is awesome. I'm already thinking about my next adventure and staying their. Made a lot of new friends up there. cant wait for the next time . Thank you all for the best time ever !!
